Glen Wright Blues Welcome Banner

Martin OM18v

I bought this about a year ago. My first Martin! I have always wanted one since I first started playing when saw a couple of D18 and D28 Martin’s in Ivor Mairants shop window in London in 1966.

I only bought the Levin Goliath instead because I could not afford a Martin at the time.

Sitka Spruce top, standard X scalloped top bracing, Scale Length 25.4 inch, Honduras Mahogany back & sides, Ebony fingerboard, Bone nut and saddle with fingerboard width at nut 1.3/4inch, inlay old style 18 and Gotoh nickel open geared tuners with Butter bean knobs.

A beautiful light touch very responsive and richly sounding instrument strung with DAddario Phosphor Bronze Light Gauge. Guarantees great projection and an authentic vintage raw ‘real deal‘ sound ideal for Folk Blues Fingerstyle picking or Strumming.
